Never used to have this problem, but now recently I am constantly having it and can't join the servers. (Only having issues with Fearless servers btw)
I have 16GB RAM, so definetely doesn't have anything to do with that. Most of the times, I get into the server (not just the sending client info thing), then I get stuck at the beginning where it says: "If you are stuck here, the gamemode is crashed, please contact an admin and he will restart it."
Any help is appreciated!

Are you all joining single player first? Even with my decent PC specs, I have to join single player first as my GMod just doesn't load everything fully on startup (164 addons last time I checked) so it's worth checking it out to see.

Well,for me its opposite,i cant join any servers if i join singleplayer. I had this bug. Try closing other programs that use internet (Ex: Utorrent,bittorrent,skype...)

This used to happen to me is neacuse your loading screen takes too long soo in your computer your already in but is still loading for you but your already ingame soo what i did was when loading atleast move youse mouse in your loading screen so it doesnt time you out. Try that

i fixed this problem by renewing you martial maps in the g mod folder . this problem happens because some maps are damaged or deleted. it has nothing to do with ram

This is indeed not a gamemode bug, but a bug with Gmod in general or a local problem.
