Origins
In 1998, the British corporation Weyland Corp decided it would be merged with the Japanese Yutani Corporation in order to excel in creating new and interesting technology and became the antecedents to the Weyland-Yutani conglomerate corporation.
Weyland-Yutani is a large conglomerate corporation. It is the only one of the corporations currently operating in Evocity that runs the human colonies outside the solar system through the Extrasolar Colonization Administration, has a seat in the Interstellar Commerce Commission's Company Review Board, and also has a large presence on Earth. They hold their main offices in Tokyo, San Francisco and now Evocity.
Company Departments
Public Relations
These employees represent the professional front of Weyland-Yutani, ensuring all our public affairs are in order. They are responsible for meeting with government officials and getting permits for the corporation to operate should certain laws prevent us from doing so without permission. They have people skills, are are very approachable.
Research & Development
Research and Development work on Weyland-Yutani's projects, they are our primary source of income and specialise in three different areas of development. Which are:
Deep space transport - We develop hyper-sleep systems that make the galaxy a smaller and friendlier place, we also develop new ways to transport goods through deep space without an issue.
Terraforming - We develop technology that can one day be used to terraform newly discovered planets, allowing for us to build our colonies on it and mine its natural resources.
Robotics - Weyland-Yutani are always looking for new ways to build better worlds and assist the fair people of this city with utility androids and transport. Therefore, we have set up a division that specialises in robotics. These will be available to the public once our Galactic Marketplace has been established.
Weyland-Yutani's Private Security Force (USCM)
Weyland-Yutani controls the United States Colonial Marine Corps. Weyland-Yutani founder Karl Bishop Weyland alluded that the corporation may have played a massive part in the actual formation of the USCM, stating that he and the Corps were "old friends" and that it was effectively just another "corporate asset".
In early 2015, Weyland-Yutani bought the USCM and offered them a full-time position in their corporation as a private military contractor.
Outsourcing
The USCM are currently available for outsourcing, this means you can hire our own private military to protect your business. They are highly trained and provide their own gear, see below for our current rates.
Rates
$500 per Soldier - 1 Squad for $2,000
$700 per Armoured Soldier - 1 Squad for $2,800

These people have been given the all clear by senior management, they are people who will assist our corporation in times of need and who will support any decision we make.
Organization Alignment
This section outlines our relationships with other organizations that we know of operating within the city. Hostile organizations have operations related to actions against them, speak to your Commanding Officer for more details on hostile orgs.
Corporate Assets - We have an agreement with this organization, agreements range from weapon pipelines to loaning soldiers for conflicts.
Friendly - Not an enemy, not neutral. On more than one occasion, we have aided or been aided by this organization.
Neutral - We know of this group, though we have only just met them and we have not associated with them properly.
Wary - This organization has been aggressive towards us at one point, though operations are not being planned against them.
Hostile - This organization has committed several hostile or aggressive actions towards us, and operations are now actively being planned against them.

Project Xeno [Alien RP (First Clan Project)]
In this project we attempted to recreate alien life, the entire project was ran successfully with minimal interruption. This was based at our facility on the outskirts of town. Two volunteers were tested on, both were unfortunately killed by our sample.
