how do i know if im metagaming
might be a silly question but im new so help me out

You should post this is the help and support page, but it's if you say things in OOC wich reveal IC information.
Ex. OOC: Selling fish! PM for details (metagaming) You should use /advert for that.
Also if you're talking with someone on steam, skype Etc. You say: "come to me! The cops have arrested me, kill them!". That would be metagaming.
So basically saying OOC stuff that should be IC.

Welcome to Fearless and the Fearless Forums, kiin93. Metagaming is saying things in Out of Character (OOC) when it should be In character (IC). Private Message is considered OOC, but can be used for IC information, for example, /pm <name> *The phone rings* <rest of message>.
// (/pm) and .// (Steam chat, Skype) are OOC.
/advert, /pm, /broadcast and regular chat are IC.
