Details about yourself: There are few people like Li Na in America. Born to two Chinese immigrants, her father worked on the Transcontinental Railroad before she was born. They lived in an impoverished area of California's Chinatown at the time. When she was only 2 years old, her father left the family without a word. Her mother struggled to her and her siblings by. Sadly, this tragedy was not the only one she would suffer at such a young age. Her brother, Li Wei, the main income source of the family passed away of dysentery at only 17. Lina was just 14. Some say it was her father's death, some say her brother's death, some say it was her horrible addict of a mother that drove her to insanity. Lina became obsessed that her brother did not die of sickness, but she believes he was murdered, and possibly her father was too. She promises to avenge them both. As she was almost at a big break in her investigation, her mother arranged a marriage for her with a much older man. Lina hitchhiked the first train she could find. Thus, she ended up in Driftwood. As a solo Chinese woman, with little to her name, she remains determined as ever in finding out the truth.

I don’t wanna ruin some great role playing but you guys are acting like there were just 1000 of chinese people in America in 1894, yes there was China-Town in San Fran but let’s be real here 99% of white westerners would not have ever seen an Asian person before. I think if we truly role play how it was in 1894 there should be a lot of racism towards the asians in the town. As if they were treated the same it just wouldn’t adhere to the history of the country at that time. I just don’t see it historically accurate to have Asians in this western role play, but obviously it’s your choice how you wish to spend your time in this wonderful event.

Like all servers we need the Rules to ensure that there isn’t complete havoc. However our current rules wont always fit in some scenarios and so some rules have been changed for the event. If the rule isn’t listed here as being changed follow the base rules in which are set for the main server.

The rule changes are as follows (More changes may come so make sure to keep up to date)! :

6.10 The Sheriff commands Sheriff Deputies, unless the Mayor states otherwise. If you wish to join the Government as a custom job you must receive permission from the Mayor with a pass at the nearest convenience.
7.2 Different teams are created for a reason, so do not ally with other teams. For example, McLouis Gang do not ally with the Government.
7.4 Custom gangs may be created but may not exceed a count of 3 players and may not associate with any other gangs or teams
8.1 You cannot commit crimes in view of the town and you must have a valid roleplay reason (you can rob a store in public, if deemed safe to do so). However within City borders you can commit crimes within alley ways.
8.2 When mugging you can only steal up to $2.5 and you may not mug the same person twice within 15 minutes.
8.7 You can hostage players for a maximum of $10, however it can't be without a valid roleplay reason or in public, you need a good reason and your character style needs to fit the roleplay situation.
8.8 Using restraints is only for taking a player hostage or to perform a civil arrest. For example, do not use restraints as a way to disarm somebody (as it is not realistic and counts as FailRP).
10.5 Bases must fit the roleplay of the situation. For example, poor characters cannot afford high-tech bases. No visual use of metal plates and unrealistic designs
10.6 Do not use the fading door tool unrealistically
10.7 All bases/structures must be fitting to the time period (1890’s)

Any rule breakages could lead to removal from the event as well as punishments in which would be transferred over to the main server to.
