Try: startup option -dxlevel 81 seems to work for most people.

That just makes every game I go to crash when opening console. Even single player.

I've reinstalled Gmod and was able to get the console working for 2 days, then it went back to It's white cursor then crash. The only things I have in addons are FLcontent and a soundfix.

Its like a virus, i read about this thread 2 days ago and now i have the same issue.
Whenever i press `the game "freezes" and brings me back to desktop. Reinstalling didnt work AT ALL for me, the problem is still there
I have windows 8, i dont know about the rest, but is it possible FL doesnt like windows 8?

This is FL exclusive, and I run on Windows 7.
