I think you can drag them into the steamapps dir of your account, or simply just copy and paste them over to it, try that.

To be honest, I think this should be added to the Important threads considering the recurring nature of the problem, especially with an expanding playerbase.

I downloaded hl2 , hl2 episode 1,2 from steam and copied to my steam user whole folders after launching each game to create, game folders.
After that gmod says that there are game folders but they are unavailable.
So that means someone have to create those game folders as addons in order to make stuff work.

Or you could Try to write vgui_allowhtml 0 in console and join server.

Still crashing after turning off AA and trying settings.
EDIT: That console command worked though, thanks.
