Why shouldn't someone learn about history if they were born decades after it occurred? Only the truly ignorant would try and censor information for the sake of temporary comfort, and that is what is wrong with society today. The tragedy of World War II should be remembered so that the same mistakes aren't repeated. Deliberately trying to forget about it is a form of denial, and the same attitude of people that lead to the war in the first place. It's no wonder why many countries keep making the same mistakes over and over again; they fail to learn from the past.

As for this point, in what world does calling someone a nazi then constitute educating them on their history? I think you’ll find that most, if not all Germans are aware of that part of their country’s history without Academy from the FearlessRP community taunting them and stamping them down as members of the fascist regime.

Another strawman, no such thing occured. If I were to tell you that I am jewish, would it be anti semitic of someone to say that I'm speaking zionist/ arab/ gibberish in case I start speaking hebrew? Of course not, it might come off as rude but it is nothing more than a perhaps insensitive comment about a language.

Yet again you’ve ignored the implications behind calling someone a Nazi. They didn’t like the comment, and I’m sure you’ll find that is a common theme when asking any German person their opinion on the matter. It’s not censorship of history, it’s downright insulting and rude at least, and this it is discriminatory.

The fact you believe it’s not discriminatory to tar every German person under the brush of being a far-right, fascist party supporter, one that is responsible for millions of deaths, and holds many abhorrent xenophobic, racist, ableist, and sickening views, is only telling everyone here something about yourself.

Literally none of that is even remotely true. My paternal grandfather was german and sent to a KZ because he was a socialist and involved with worker's unions. The fact that someone who wasn't there, and who hasn't seen any evidence but bases his opinion off of hearsay decides to attribute beliefs to me that I have never and will never hold as an attempt to create a strawman tells me everything I need to know about you.

Sorry to break it to you, but it’s not a subjective view to take that it is insulting and offensive to be compared to a regime that facilitated the deaths of 6,000,000 people, unless you believe the views held are acceptable, in which case, I can very quickly show you the door away from all of our services.

Sorry to break it to you, but if you want to get technical, all views are subjective. That's kind of the point of a view/ opinion/ belief. Not that I hold that view, to be clear.

Although yet again, he was never compared to the regime of nazi germany.

He was never called a nazi, if he was, I'd very much like to see the video evidence. It is regretable that he felt upset. I would actually call both my and Academy's guilt into question, as I personally don't really remember anyone specific saying anything about anything being nazi. The fact that it is claimed that someone said it once means that at least one of us, Academy or I, is entirely innocent. Please would someone ( the person that is responsible for handing out the ban) provide evidence to establish who the guilty party is once and for all.

Not to single anyone out, but instead of filling this thread with off-topic comments, could the trial admin be so kind and answer the questions I have asked? It would be greatly appreciated and could clear things up for both me and any other parties interested in the answers.
