I haven't really seen anyone give a reason as to why teacher rank should be removed in this thread, except the argument that other players can help newcomers even if they don't have a teacher rank, which I don't really think is valid. Just because other people are able to help, doesn't mean there shouldn't be people who are considered "designated helpers".
A point I would like to make, is that players who does not hold the teacher rank are not restricted by guidelines or expected to be truthful when asked for help, which doesn't make them quite as trustworthy as players who are, and let's be honest, there are a lot of people who like to troll others when given the chance.
I'm not quite sure if it's the rank you are against or if you just don't like that players who hold the teacher rank gets a few benefits. I don't see anything wrong with individuals, who dedicate themselves to help others on the server, receiving some benefits for their efforts.
