Cruise Control - A quick guide
#1
Information
So I've noticed quite a few people are unaware of how the Cruise Control item works. This thread will explain for you.
To open up your Cruise Control Options use this command: /cruiseoptions

This command will open a small, simple derma panel for you to be able to set your Key Bind and to also change the type of Cruise Control setting you want.

Spoiler: Cruise Options

As shown in the Spoiler above, there are two options you can utilise.

  • Constant Speed Mode
This mode will allow you, whilst driving, to set a constant speed (the speed at which you are going when you press your key bind).
  • Max Speed Mode
This mode will allow you, whilst driving, to set a Maximum Speed. You will not continue to drive, but it will cap the speed you can drive at until you re-press your key bind. (the speed at which you are going when you press your key bind).

Another command you can utilise is: /cruise <number in mph>
Example usage: '/cruise 30'

When using the /cruise command, it will execute based upon what mode you are in.
If in Constant Speed Mode, you will begin to drive immediately.
If in Max Speed Mode, you will not drive immediately and will just set the max speed for when you're ready to drive off.
