Materials missing in 'Material Tool'

Hey,
Im having issues locating and recifying the missing materials in my Material Tool. Can anyone help?

Things I have tried:
- Downloaded everything from the 'Everything you need to play the server'
- Downloaded HL:EP1/EP2
- Downloaded CS:GO/Source
- Validated my GMOD files, through steam
- Restarted my system
- Re-installing everything

Often garry's mod can have issues fully installing certain addons, especially if they have been downloaded via the web version of steam. Try restarting your steam (ending task), reloading up g-mod (seeing if anything downloads upon loading) and checking in game. Repeat this cycle 3-4 times, I have had a similar issue in the past with textures not downloading and this solution worked.
G-Mod just doesn't seem to download everything in one go, it takes a few times.

Just tried this for the second time, still no progress

Do you have HL2 Episode 2?

On the main menu of Garry's mod, there is a little controller next to a flag in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

Click on the controller and tick every tickable box you can. The boxes will state various names of games, so just tick the ones you can.

Once you have connected these games to Garry's mod, it should work -- it did for me anyway!
