Had a dream once when someone was standing in the corner of my room watching me, I woke up to look into the corner and seen a shadow, it was my dad checking on me before he went to work... Dream turned into life

I just had a very vivid dream, myself, that I quite enjoyably woke up from.

Spoiler: The Dream
So I went to sleep very 'late' last night and I could not be any more arsed to go to school this morning, so I stayed in bed. As I continued to sleep, I went very deep (which is unusual since I was recently woken up by my mother shouting me down). As I dropped, deeper and deeper into the dream realm, I 'fell?' into a chair in my maths class which was in geography for some reason. Since this was quite vivid I believed I was in school for real, I began to think of a way to leave school since I could not be bothered with it. So I pretended to feel sick, really sick. I didn't complete any work. I had my head on the desk. Surprisingly, I spotted a friend of mine that was towards of the back of the class (who shouldn't have been there since he's not in my class) that goes by the name of 'Elmo'. Standing, Elmo began to converse with what seemed like a Teachers Assistant about him having the opportunity to leave the school because he was 'sick' also. "Wow, that's not fair. Here I am sitting here all day feeling sick and Elmo gets to go first?" I exclaimed, annoyed because I had to stay in school. Unusually, the Teachers Assistant turned around and said that I could come too. This was quite strange since you have to go through layers of staff in school to be sent home.

So I sharply stood and walked outside the classroom.

This is when the dream begins to become strange. As I left the classroom, I enabled some sort of inter-dimensional google search. I have no idea how. I suddenly went into third-person view and my vision darkened as the search bar appeared. It felt like I was typing on a keyboard. I don't know if I was. I don't know what I typed. But as soon as I hit enter, I disappeared. The sensation was indescribable, yet very simple. I saw that my body disappeared however my first-person 'camera?' or 'vision?' remained where my body disappeared from. Similar to how you die in fearless, but your camera remains where you died until you press 'accept'. Finally, I accepted the 'inter-dimensional google search' and my vision teleported to my body which was in a bed or couch somewhere? My first person vision became quite cinematic. With perfect composition of 'camera' placement, movement with brilliant colour-grading and shading. But no black bars.

This next part of this part of the dream I don't remember quite well, so I will fill it with what I think and felt happening.

Lost. This is all I felt. I began to wonder around the the room I had recently teleported to, attempting to gain my bearings and find out where I am. As I wondered around, inside and outside the property, I faintly heard my mother calling me from all angles. She sounded like God's voice coming from up, down, left and right. This felt and sounded very similar to the last dream in inception were the music faintly played from all directions. I felt minuscule, unimportant, nothing. I had to get out of there. I used my 'inter-dimensional google search' again. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think I did. It was as if my peripheral vision expanded, increased, making it look like reality was being stripped inside out. As I took one step back and "Pop!", I disappeared once again, returning my vision into the first-person and putting me into the bed that I was sleeping in, outside the dream.

At this point I felt awake. Human. Alive.

I looked around my room, everything was were it should be. My gaming setup was off, the lights were off, it was early morning. Except one thing. I had a TV above my two monitors on my gaming setup, angled to point me in bed. Suddenly, I heard women enjoyably moaning and giggling. My TV was playing porn. A muscular man, holding the camera in the video, began to have sex with a blonde woman that had her front on the bed. There was a brunette woman to the right of the blonde, with her back on the bed and her legs spread open. She was masturbating to the other woman having sex with the man. Down and to the right of the video, there was a pink and black watermark however I do not remember what it was. As the sex noises got louder, the thrusting got harder and the brunette rubbed faster, I began to masturbate whilst watching the video. Before I could finish, my peripheral vision expanded once again. I zoomed out from reality. Suddenly ''Pop!''

Everything tuned black and...

I opened my eyes.

Kind Regards,

I don't usually remember my dreams, the only time I do is when they're deeply disturbing.

When I was around 7, I began having this recurring one which started off with me in bed and my parents reading me a story. To give you some background info, my bedroom at the time had a direct view of the hallway and subsequently the staircase going up to the first floor. Anyway, my parents would read to me for about 5 minutes, at which point I'd hear some sort of commotion downstairs, and terrifyingly, I would see the body of someone who was clearly not either of my parents but with my mum's face, climbing the stairs and making their way towards my room. Once they got there, I would be frozen in fear at which point they would pull out a gun and shoot me in the face.

I had this nightmare until I was about 12.

No clue why it happened or why it stopped, I didn't have a messed up childhood and my parents are both great so I'm not sure what my brain was trying to subconsciously tell me,

but yeah... weird weird stuff.

EDIT: I just googled and apparently ' Dreaming about killing someone or someone being killed is very reminiscent of the kidnapping dream. The only difference is that with killing, it means that the person that is lost becomes indelibly changed and cannot be brought back. This sort of experience can ruin relationships and destroy families. It is important to view this dream as a very strong warning against losing yourself in an upcoming project. It is always better to fail at work than to fail at your entire life.'

but it's a bit late to know this, considering it stopped happening 5 years ago... oh well lmao, I'll try not to lose myself in any upcoming projects??

When I was young, living just with my mother because she broke up with my father, I always dreamt of me being at my grandmothers house. I use to visit my grandma every weekend, and I came back home near midnight. I was always afraid of the statues in her spare room where my GameCube was at, and I always had a dream of seeing them move and shit. I can remember them opening their mouth and screaming st me.

This is sadly all I remember...

I actually stopped having dreams a few years ago, and haven't done since. The few times I do have a dream now, its normally very hard to tell what is going on and nothing makes any sense but everything does seem to fit together, kinda like a flashback of been on LSD but who knows.

A few time I've had dreams about tasks I'm going to do in the near future like finish a college essay or eat something in the fridge.

One time in high school I had a realistic dream where I did my homework and I went to school the next day thinking I did it but nope

I also had a dream there was something nice in the fridge so irl I go down and check the fridge and I'm left disappointed.

Last dream I remember was a lucid dream, which I had no idea about that it would happen, I acknoweledged it was a dream, since I tried to jump and I started hovering in the air, then I moved my arms like I was swimming, I was able to fly! Also I was able to control the dream world by just thinking about something and it would happen in the dream.

It was a dream world with a white cloudy sky, ground was flat and made of white sand.. Also I was the only being that could control the world of what would transpire, I was able to control people, also I helped some of the civilians that ended up getting in trouble, I felt like a superhero. I was flying around, looking over the civilians, kind of like my own universe inside my head.. aaand then I woke up to my alarm.
I wish I could return to it, sometimes I have kept trying but no luck.

The dream that means most to me is a dream that I don't remember, however it is the dream that actually showed me what my goal in real life was, which was to pursue a career in YouTube. I know it sounds wierd but it is true. Your dreams can show you what you deepest desires are, so do pay attention to them, as it might show you what the meaning of your life is.
