It’s a bit complicated for me actually...
My paternal side is from a small village to the north of Ankara.
My maternal side is from a town in the Taurus Mountains in South-Central Turkey.
I’m 14(15 VERY soon), born in Ankara and still live there. For the people who don’t know, it’s the second-largest city and the capital of Turkey, with a population of 5 million. It’s to the Northwest in Central Turkey.
It’s more like a maze of apartment blocks, tight streets, wide boulevards, old art deco buildings, modern skyscrapers, slums and shopping malls than a modern city. Still not a bad place to live, but the weather is too dry and a lot of air pollution. It’s also a grim and gray city, especially in winter.
In first year of high school.
