New laptop for school / video design
#1
I'm buying a new laptop for school, video editing and simple source games like GMod (It's either bring a chromebook or a laptop, f chromebooks), and I'm either going for the 599/699 range or maybe a little higher.

Any suggestions?
I'm thinking this: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/...2-pdt.html

However, this will be in my fred perry barrel bag, and my old laptop (15.6in") just and just fit.

I get asked to do all the graphical and video stuff for my school and they have none of the software I use so they are terrible. I can't take the footage to my computer as it is a privacy issue, and I'll also use the laptop for source games.

Edit:
I don't like touch screen laptops nor the 'two in ones' or whatever that fold to a tablet. I'd rather just have a 'classic' type.

What's your max?

This is good for graphics work/editing though that's about it unless you're just googling shit.

I'm probably going to say my budget is 750. I refuse to go any higher for a laptop when I could be upgrading my main rig hah
