[Solved] What is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6
#1
What's the difference between IPv4 and IPv6, Can it effect games if only one has access, I only have access to IPv4.

Also is this normal for the speed to show as this on a wired connection

IPv4 is like 123.123.12.3
IPV6 is like 0000:0aa0:00a0:0000:0000:0a0a:0000:0000

It does not affect gameplay, just a different style of IP.

Your speed will not be affected if you either use IPV6 or IPV4. (Will be the same roughly)

It doesn't affect speed, and IPv6 is a alternative to what is pretty much the standard, IPv4.

One is just long and the other isn't.

I think most of these answer your question, besides, IPv6 isn't relevant in this time of day.
