TV Terrorism

 

Recently construction has taken place in the once derelict area of EvoCity; and after many years of construction the Honey Tree Studios opened. This studio comes equipped with many facilities to put EvoCity back on the map and hosts a wide range of broadcasted shows. As of the 28/07/2017 the first show was hosted at the facility and with high security it all seemed to be sailing smoothly. As the show progressed some minor technical issues occurred, but nothing runs totally smoothly. However as the show progressed this would change. During the show smoke and flames could be seen to be building up behind the scenes which became obvious to the audience. The flames began to rise and as the security force led the citizens out some lives were lost in the progress. The studio which cost a sum of around $7,500,000 was burned down on the first week of opening and is currently being investigated as a possible attempt of Arson or a technological disaster. The President Francis Smith stated "This disaster will be memorised in the hearts and minds of our city for eternity. We will mourn all who lost their lives at this disaster and will make sure a full investigation is conducted." However no public or private response has been received from the 'Honey Tree' Management Team. We send our deepest condolences to all who were affected by this disaster

Courtesy Carriage?

Its a well known fact that in modern society the world would collapse without our so called 'fundamental' pieces of equipment, some of these include; the notorious motorised vehicle, the dastardly cell-phone, and the dreaded Wi-fi. However as we have seen recently many old things are seeing the light of day once more. One creative genius decided to bring back the believed Horse drawn carriage. This vehicle was a very popular mode of transport before the invention of cars and now only sees use by the Richest of society. However the owner of this well-kept vehicle acts as a transport for the man who travels around the City showing off his transport. The owner has been spotted numerous times on the outskirts of the city and regularly sets up for the night there allowing the public to come and visit as they please. However it can be a positive and a negative in one. It reduces Carbon Emissions but means forced labour of animals. Science may agree with it but organisations like PETA don't.

The Aristocracy

Meet the Aristocracy of EvoCity, these are the highest classed people in the City and known as some of the wealthiest and prosperous people around. As shown above the image shows 3 members of EvoCity's Aristocracy; Ms.Blake, Miss.Lajoie and Mr.Bentley, all Ex-Workers of Bentley Productions and some of the richest people in EvoCity, it is rumoured that Mr.Bentley has around 30 large Villas scattered around the globe and still some cash to splash in his free time. However not all the time being rich is that good. Many begin to judge themselves and create unnecessary doubts. However some members are very generous like Mr.Bentley who stated how he donates large 'sums' of money to 'charity'. We say good luck to whoever wishes to part the aristocrats from their money as they are like piranhas with prey. These Elitists can sure be a difficult group.

Points of Interest

In this new addition to the Pravda we have created a new section known as 'Points of Interest', in this section we pinpoint a interesting location each week and explain a bit about them. This will allow the readers and citizens of EvoCity to learn more about the City and explore the City they live in.

Title: St.Marennà Christian Church

Location: Grassy Fields

Build Cost: $153,600

Size: 48ft x 80ft

Date of Open: 1984

Details: St.Marennà was constructed under supervision of senior architect Geoffrey Deacon

 in the year 1984, the church was originally designed as a Victorian era style church however after the death of Geoffrey he left it to the next generation of the family which would be Joseph and Noah Deacon, the church then dubbed the 'Deacon Brothers Church' until 2017 when the church was requested for the funeral of Mr.Colton. However the church was not up to standard so the Estleback Conservative Party paid for additional constructions to be added to the church paying a grand sum of $25,000 for a revamp of the church for the funeral.
