Useless ATM. People don't even RP regular fire engines, how do you expect them to actually use these vehicles to their full extent? Until people actually take the fireman job seriously, this is useless.

This is only enhanced by the fact emergencies are cleared up within minutes. By the time a Battalion Chief rolls up to a car crash the fireman has put it out. it takes literally seconds to put out fires and administer medical aid, so again, EMS supervisors are useless. There is nothing for them to supervise; no at-scene triage or resource allocation.

Overhauling the fireman job would boost the number of people that roleplay as a fireman, just like with the cop overhaul it provided more avenues of roleplay.

Overhaul it then; but new vehicles is not exactly an overhaul lmao. You can add all the vehicles you want but it'll only be the same people as before who actually use them properly and RP properly. (very few)

We need a fire spread mechanic, fire hoses instead of fire extinguishers (which don't even have a model do they?), a rudimentary medical script (honestly, you just press a button and they come to life), rank structure for the fire service, rank structure for the EMS. We need to extend the longevity and challenge that comes with being a Fireman, making these supplementary roles valid and of actual benefit to the roleplay mechanics of Fearless. Adding a Fireman SUV is not an 'overhaul', good sir

One mans dirt is another's gold.

Same applies here, you May not see it as a overhaul but we see it a way to put new life into firemen. Firemen generally are driving around constantly, what's more engaging to give more and better vehicles to appropriate roles so their said job is replayed correctly

Yes but at the end of the day, the only people who are actually going to use the cars for their designated purpose (battalion chiefs, EMS supervisors etc.) were the ones who were roleplaying as good firemen before anyway. I'll tell you now, a 0 hour fireman will be no better at the job or more inclined to join it because of these additions. We need a lot more.

You say that adding vehicles ensures that the job is roleplayed correctly. This is not the case. Adding a Battalion Chief car will not make Fireman any better roleplayers, lmao. They're going to drive the SUV like they would the engine. Medics are gonna drive the EMS supervisor car like they would an ambulance. You cannot change the roleplay effectiveness and mechanics of a job role via the addition of vehicles.

I have been here five years, and gone through a vast amount of vehicle changes. The only real difference any of them ever made was the ELS, because it changed the actual way people, no matter their roleplay experience, could be a cop.

I agree with this. An overhaul is only an overhaul if you actually remake and make everything better.

Obviously they don't play it because it's boring, I don't play paramedic or fireman from months because it's boring, there isn't enough stuff (vehicles and uniforms)for these two hero classes that need a revamp .

Ps. That's not true that people don't take these 2 jobs seriously, a lot of people (myself included) really do.

Pps. If there's a big accident TRUST me that there's time for the battalion chief and the supervisor to get on scene.
