Far Cry 5 announcement

Apparently, but not surprisingly, Ubisoft has teased the release of Far Cry 5 today, with a worldwide reveal on the 26th of May.

Any thoughts? Personally I believe they're just milking a cash cow, but then again I can't say I didn't enjoy Far Cry 3 and 4. I hope they learned their lesson with all the complaints about the entire franchise being stupidly linear.

Far Cry 3 and 4 were fine. Didn't hear much good about Far Cry primal, but then again it was only singleplayer. Let's see how they handle the next one.

I don't trust Ubisoft after they gave the same CD Key to all three of my friends who bought Far Cry 3

This far cry looks like its going to take an interesting turn, its theme looks so much more different than both 4 and primal. Let's hope it doesn't dissapoint

It's scary that the promo snippets are difficult to differentiate from CGI and live action. Just shows how far technology has come even from 5 years ago.

I like the theme of this.
