I think it would be nicer if the Avatars section banner wasn't a gif. Simply because 1) Unneeded eye candy... 2) Isn't practical
3) Doesn't really do much 4) Lower quiality

Also, nearly everything being blue isn't quite helpful, it blends anything important (eg: info) into the 'blue'.
