Glad to see FUMUKU regaining some support, looking forward to possibly working with you in the future hostage. As for the unofficial/official thing, it doesn't really bother me, we still run a professional clan and have fun doing it, the past is history, tomorrow is a mystery, so live for today!

What's the requirements of becoming an official clan and what advantages does being official bring?

The requirements seem to be listed as:

*Atleast 3 members required to register as an official clan.
*Clan thread must have some describing text to it.

*Clans which were found to have everything in order will be known as official clans.
*Official status can only be awarded by FL staff.

Though its clearly got to be more than that as we seem to meet all the requirements that are publicly listed and thensome.

As for the benifits:


TURFS:
*Turfs are limited by shop (such as Giga, Bank) or small area (such as Cubs, Fleemarket) in city or buildings (such as TV Station, Pool) and their intermediate surrounding area (such as Bar, Villas) outside the city.
*Only official clans can make claims to turfs.
*Only turfs actively used for clan based RP can be claimed.
*A turf can be claimed by one official clan only. Colliding interests must be dealt with diplomatically, or with force if all other methods fail.
*Having claimed a turf does not grant a clan the right to stop regular people RPing there or give special rights to ownership of doors.

[This is still a perk, though it is almost never enacted by clans these days, though it would be interesting to see it return one day in a far more detailed and managed form to prevent the horrors that were Clan Claims "The time when clans could claim specific types of RP and violently shut down anyone who attempted to infringe on their claim, most promnently Casinos in anyshape or form]


Access to the ability to declare war:
[This perk is almost never exersized these days ever since last year and for a very good reason, unofficial clans seem to declare war on eachother but the declaration of war on an official clan can only be done by an official clan with proper reasons listed in the clan war rules topic and must be followed to the letter]

Access to a private clan sub forum for members only:

Probably the most usefull of perks as it allows for members to post securely in a private place and allows for mass distribution of information, both private and public, while keeping it clan view only.

In terms of FUMUKU this would allow each division to have their own seperate sticky topic containing news and information, events and so on to be posted in their particular area so people can keep tabs on it, as well as a nice sticky topic listing the primary timezone conversions of all FUMUKU members to easily check when an event will take place.
