Resource on recent weapon pack
Firearm usage from the perspective of a citizen

The average citizens should stick to basic firearms that would be realistically obtainable through the means of their local gun dealer; these weapons include Glock-17, Five-seven, P250, Magnum and perhaps even the desert eagle. I would say the two latter of this list are best represented by a rich citizen, not someone that lives in the slums for example or even a rebel, to try keep things RP based as possible with the weapons. On multiple occasions I have seen citizens defending their houses with all sorts of weapons, from SCAR-H's to AWM’s, which frankly I have found to be simply unrealistic. In which situation would a citizen get his hands on military grade rifle actively being used in the police force and even the special forces that make up Evo-city’s police department, these are standard citizens, in which are given the description that they are normal functional members of society that do not differentiate much from the likes of you and me in real life. The idea of these normal law-abiding citizens having contraband anyway is a controversial subject, but having anything above pistols seemingly goes against the roleplay they are assigned while they have that ‘citizen job’.

Firearm usage from the perspective of a custom citizen job

Now this is very situational and actually relies on the roleplay that you intend to be carrying out, let’s go with the classical ‘thug’ roleplay. Now I can see in many cases a ‘thug’ perhaps possessing a UZI in which they could use in muggings and roleplay situations like drive-bys and the typical contraband defence in the slums area that is quite prevalent at the current time. I could occasionally seeing them obtaining a AK-74, which is littered throughout Eastern Europe since the breakdown of the eastern bloc, it is understandable they may be able to get their hands on one of these with the correct RP in place, for example get someone doing a illegal weapon smuggler roleplay and you get your hands on one of these which you may be capable of as a ‘thug’ due to your ‘street links’, it’s always nice to see people roleplay aggressive roleplay than just shooting walls and cops with no remorse alike.

The job ‘Freedom Fighter’ is also very commonly seen for various reasons, primarily the dismantling the dictator from power in the city, I will go over this first. It really does depend on the background and attire of your roleplay character, thus I will go over them individually

·        Poor, slum-dwelling, fed-up citizens should really take up arms with an AK-74 at the very maximum; they are not acquitted with the money to afford certain weapons like some of the other backgrounds can. I’d also say that a Galil would be acceptable to use as it is now relatively cheap weapon to purchase from a shady gundealer. It’s always nice to see a Smuggler roleplay going on and not just spawning in front of each other. I would say that the Molotov is quite obviously acceptable roleplay wise to be used by the poorer folk of Evo-city.

·        The Middleclass/Upperclass citizens of Evo-city who have paid their money into these ‘Freedom Fighter’ groups for years ever since the dehumanizing acts of the dictator came into action. Pushed to the limit these citizens have taken up arms in a act of rebellion, they are commonly suited during their raids as it acts as a great way to surprise the defending units with the Kevlar packed underneath the shirt and blazer. Weapon wise I would say that these can use everything the poorer can use, but I would say there is somewhat a minimum on which you can use, as being the richer citizens of Evo-city they would be able to get their hands on a greater arrange of weapons, and I would assume they would choose only the best of the best as they want to return home at the end of the day. In this case I would say that roleplay wise it would be acceptable for them to get hands on AR-15’s, UMP-45’s, M3’s. Weaponry that is priced around the mid-range is the best way to describe the weapons that would suit these roleplay, with M3/AR-15 being the upper limit.

·        Military groups and clans, this is basically the gasmask part of fearless, you are free to wield whatever you so desire, I would say there is definitely a minimum on this, do not run into raids wielding UZI’s only and pistols, as a military group and clan you are expected to wield military weapons if you can afford to wear a tactical suit equipped with a gasmask. I would say the minimum for this would be pushing the AK-47, as a military group is more likely to use something along the lines of a AR-15 and SCAR-H, they will also have free access to the expensive sniper rifles provided in this update, like the AWM, G3A3 and SCAR-20, I would say these are pretty much limited to this group, not including the SRU, seeing as these are extremely powerful and expensive weapons that can’t be obtained by your average local gunshop.

I find it extremely interesting that you can sort of allocate a set of weapons to a so called ‘type’ of Freedom Fighters as these groups all differ in a variety of ways, you have the freedom of choice to do whatever type of roleplay you want to, but this acts as a sort of guideline the type of weapons you should be using during your aggressive roleplays to enhance realism in a sense on the server. You do not necessarily require a gasmask to be part of that last group, you can just write in your description ‘Tactical suit – Gasmask – Kevlar’. The great thing about Fearless is the fact that you can use your description to represent your character in a way that wouldn’t necessarily possible without the description.

I am currently searching for additional jobs to place in this section, please leave a comment below on any jobs that are common at the moment that I have left out.

Firearm usage from the perspective of a rebel*

Some people would say that this is quite an obvious one to conclude “AK-74, that’s all you need”, but I have no doubt that there are roleplay scenario’s that allow the rebels to get their hands on much bigger toys. Being an underground group that is actively known to revolt against the government, it is plausible that corrupt military officers or Weapon Smugglers would approach them to make big buck out of group that they would know require big weapons to take down the massive force that they face to achieve their goal. Surprisingly the only reason for rebel is not only to contrafarm but it also bring unique protests and riots (Seek admin permission beforehand) to achieve a true understanding of the role and effect this job has on the attitude of the citizens in Evo-city itself, rebels are very capable of bringing the citizens of Evo-city onto their side. This means the situation in which they will use their weapons vary and also depends on the development of the rebel group itself.

·        Rebels are capable getting their hands on pistols relatively easily, being a cheap and openly available on the streets of Evo-City, they are the go-to weapons for muggings in the slum area of v2d and the equivalent on the other two maps, this means you might actually earn some money if you pull off more than a single mugging as well, as most people of Evo-city seems to carry a assault rifle with them where ever they go. I would say that the rebels are able to wield any pistol they may desire in this situation, with the glock-17 being preferable because of its cheap price, but the UZI is quite good for muggings as well.

·        Your rebel leader and Co. have established a fortified base somewhere outside the city preferably, but the slums are quite open for fortification as well, heavy defences are put in place while I assume you are roleplaying a crystal meth producer for example. You hear the police shout for you to open your doors and call for warrants over radio. Your best bet is to ask your leader for access to those AK-74 that were imported over for an occurrences like this, as you open the box you see they also come with the RPK illegal modification. Bipod it down and you have yourself a 45-mag dead accurate AK-74 that will make corridors near impossible to push without the help of concussion grenades. I would say the use of anything above the price of AK-74’s is unrealistic and really should not be used by the rebels at all.

·        Ah the ‘glorious leader’ has banned your people from the city, you have always wanted this chance to fight for freedom that you have always been told by your rebel leader that it is your ‘birthright’. He has equipped his people with AK-74, Molotov cocktails and military grade Kevlar imported from oversea’s to allow his people to stand the best possible chance against the imposing force, fully equipped with military grade weaponry and state-of-the-art defences, the only hope you have is your relentless morale and undying determination of your freedom. You are heavily outnumbered and outgunned by it doesn’t mean you don’t stand a chance.

Firearm usage from the perspective of a Corleone*

This is one of the most tricky ones I have come across, there is only one gun that suits the Corleone style of roleplay and that is the 15RPP requirement Tommy gun, I believe that if you have access to this weapon then it’s basically a no-brainer for roleplay, it’s a beautiful weapon and is underappreciated because of its lack of firepower. For those that don’t have access to this weapon I would recommend the use of the shotgun implemented in this update as it’s the only real weapon I would say fits into Corleone roleplay in some sense. I mean the Corleone’s really lack any kind of weapons they can use in the firstplace being a family that are basically just successful gangsters. M3 is pretty much the prime weapon to use for Corleone but you can’t really complain if they use weapons like the AK-74 and the AR-15 with the lack of choice they actually have to fit into their style of RP. I would say though steer clear of SCAR-H and anything above, they are not that successful, a UZI is very much applicable although in certain roleplay scenario’s like a driveby on a shop that isn’t paying extortion fee’s after multiple warnings and previous smashing up of the shop. Corleone roleplay is one of those things that is really open to interpretation on how far you can go with it.

Firearm Usage from the perspective of a merchant

The type of merchant is what really matters in this category, a chef wouldn’t necessary be armed with a weapon in his restaurant, he would call the police if he had any problems with his customers, the same goes for the Doctor. I would say that a gundealer would be able to possess a weapon, I mean it is guns he is selling, he should have a licence to wield and sell them, if he was unable to possess a weapon, in the case of a armed robber coming in to steal bigger guns like assault rifles, he will quite obviously want to stop the possibility of the robber going on to do bigger things with the assault rifles, thus the reasoning behind why he should be able to possess the weapon to protect himself in situations like this one. It is quite obvious that a black market dealer would be able to possess a weapon as he is selling illegal goods like modifications for some of the larger weapons, if he has the money to get his hands on them then he is surely able to get his hands on a weapon like an AK-74, to protect himself against the countless criminals he does deals with day-in-day-out.

Firearm usage from the perspective of a Government Official

Now being a government official you have full access to a range of weapons, (if you are not directly employed Refer to Custom citizen job ‘Military Groups’) then you should be able to access weapons like G36C, MP5,AR-15 and the M3, these are the weapons currently available to police units, they should be used rationally. I cannot emphasise this point anymore, as a police officer it is your job to protect the people of Evo-City, which means not shooting speeding cars by placing citizens at risk from ricochet, the past couple of days I have suffered death from stray bullets from cops spraying down cars. DON’T DO IT. Firearms should only be used when necessary and you really should not be the first people to fire if possible, reason first then if it comes to it shoot them.

The SRU is slightly different to this, they are a specialised group focused on responding to high risk calls that they know the person is either armed or very likely to be armed, and they are more likely to discharge their weapons on the people they are engaging against. Before a raid you should consult every member of the raiding party and concussion grenades should be used to incapacitate your suspect so that they have a chance to rethink the choice and place their weapon away so you can PRESERVE their life as well, no matter the crimes they have done taking them in alive rather than taking them out with them in a plastic sheet is always better. The SRU are also able to use weapons like the AWM and Scar-20 to combat possible enemy snipers, these should be used in places like UM on v2d (seeking places for v33x and v2p) to eliminate the concept of police officers and SRU being picked off by someone they can’t even see, teamwork is essential to death-free raids.

Modifications

Citizens – This is quite obvious, you’re a normal citizen, you won’t have the money to purchase laser sights for your pistols.

Custom citizens – This really depends on your financial status stated above in the custom citizen job section. I would say only military groups and clans will be financially suited to have modifications on their weapons.

Rebels* – Stated above AK-74 mods are perfectly fine and can be obtained through roleplay, laser sights are pretty much a no-no, same with holographic sights and aimpoint. Pistol modifications I’m not entirely sure about.

Corleones*– I mean as a group of gangsters it would not make much sense for them to have mods as they are quite a traditional group of people and like to conserve the things they have,  not adapting to new changes in the world.

Merchants – This is just a straight up no, only possibility would be for a black market dealer, which I don’t necessarily agree with.

Government officials – Yes this is quite obvious, as the police and SRU spawn in with modifications to improve their weapons, they have access to a full range of attachments, laser sights to scopes, knock yourself out with attachments.

TLCheeseR

Citizens – Pistols, no mods

Custom citizens – RP dependant weapons, RP dependant mods

Rebels – AK74, UZI, Pistols, AK74 mods are alright.

Corleones – Tommygun,M3, not much options to them, Mods don’t suit the RP

Merchants – Do you deal with guns or illegal goods? Yes: weapons/Mods no, No: No weapons/No mods

Government Officials – Can use pretty much everything as a SRU, Police can use most assault rifles. Mods galore.

Weapon analysis

Tommy gun

A great weapon for roleplay, really brings out the best in Corleone roleplay, although it really is a shadow of the old weapons we had, it does nowhere near as much damage as some of the weapons we have now and for that reason it isn’t combat viable in this weapon update. It may have a massive amount of rounds in a mag, but it shoots slowly and does little damage, I’d like to see some nice changes to this weapon.

Tranquilizer

In all honestly this weapon hasn’t changed all that much apart from the fact it now costs a lot more to sustain its use, the best thing that has changed is now you can’t run around jump 1v6ing people with a tranq then gunning their bodies away. Hip fire accuracy decrease was good, but not game-changing, still a great weapon to use in raids if you don’t get one-shotted.

Galil

This weapon cannot even be compared to the Galil that we was all used too beforehand, its damage is minimal and is no-longer the no-brainer gun to buy, its damage is significantly less and so is its fire rate. In all honesty, steer clear of this weapon, it’s probably one of the worst weapons to use in nearly almost every situation unless you are looking for the classic Galil model to other people in a roleplay.

AK-74

This weapon is an absolute beast; it can easily contest with the AR-15 with a greater damage output if you can hit the right shots, the modification for this turns it basically into a LMG for defence, the bipod gives this no recoil making it nearly impossible for people to raid you, I also believe this is the only weapon with the ‘cobra’ modification, my favourite scope modification, with the right mix of modifications you can really turn this weapon into the new ‘cop-slayer’. Its fire rate is average but the damage makes up for that, the iron-sights are pretty easy to aim down and the recoil is not that hard to control with semi-automatic. Designed for Mid-to-longrange engages.

AR-15

The counterpart to the AK-74, this weapon has a excellent fire-rate, faster than that of a P90 and with higher damage it contests with the AK-74 exceedingly well, if you get up close with this thing you can’t miss, making it a really quick and easy kill for the primarily government forces that use this weapon. There is a negative this weapon though, it is almost impossible for you to kill anyone at long-range with this weapon in comparison to a weapon like AK-74 or a SCAR-H, I’d say that this is intended for short-to-midrange engages. This is basically the perfect weapon for a police officer.

P90

I cannot express the fun that I have had with this weapon over the past couple of days, it is quite obviously the king of close-range in terms of sub-machine guns. It is quite capable of wiping out a group of people with the right initiation is what this weapon was made of. This weapon may not have the fire-rate of a AR-15 but it is cheaper and is easier to control from hip-fire with the use of laser sight modification, may I also point out that the scope on this thing gives no negative effects? That in itself shows the rapid play that this weapon was designed for; don’t underestimate one in close proximity. Its damage may not be the best around but it has possibly the largest clip available in this update, it is also particularly easy to shoot down the iron-sights in comparison to other weapons.

UZI

Now this weapon is just like the previous Mac-10, it is cheap, effective and deadly. You can now play as a poor street thug and steal blast people away in a matter of seconds, its fire-rate is rapid and its hip-fire spread is not massive like other weapons. It also has a higher damage than the P90, but with a significantly smaller clip, this is definitely a weapon you would take into a fight as a backup and not a primary. Aestically pleasing and not that different from the old Mac-10, there isn’t much to say about this part from the fact its damage fall off is huge, meaning it absolutely useless at Mid-range to Long-range.

Desert Eagle

This has to be my favourite pistol in the update, it is capable of one-shotting people with a headshot with no Kevlar, and this actually gives the pistol the power it needs to be viable, it has massive recoil but shoots relatively fast and has the highest damage out of all the pistols available. It has amazing fire-rate and is viable at mid-range; if you can master this pistol then you stand a good chance against any other person with their assault rifles, sub-machineguns and shotguns. It is definitely a weapon that requires for you to aim in, its bullet spread is too high from hip fire for it to do anything for you.

G3A3

This weapon is very mediocre for the price you pay for it, at the current moment in time its not worth the excessive amount to purchase on it (this may change in due time) when there are cheaper and more effective weapons to purchase. This weapon has quite some damage but is really brought down by some of its other characteristics, if your good with semi-automatic firing technique then you can utilize this weapon well but the SCAR-H is better weapon to purchase if that is your style of shooting. With the huge amount of recoil is suffers from and complete inaccuracy from hip fire, this is far from the best weapon available in the market.

AWM

The one shot cannon brought to us in this update. This sniper is capable of killing people in one shot to the head even with Kevlar, something that has not been seen before in Fearless, this makes the weapon completely unique and a real advantage to use in a raid, if you are a experienced sniper in other games you will find this a charm to use, with the correct modifications to give it a scope seeing as it only has iron-sights unlike the two other sniper rifles, it requires modifications for it to be of real use at long ranges. Its functionality in raids causes a real struggle for either side, with the aspect of being one-shotted always there it means that people are afraid of this weapon. Situational uses, I would say this weapon is great for indoor use, as you can funnel people into headshot positions for easy kills.

G2 Contender

This weapon has great roleplay capability if only it had a world model, the idea of having a sniper in your hands doesn’t really make sense to me at all and is in dire need of a model change. This weapon does less damage than the Desert Eagle, making it nearly impossible for combat usage, with better weapons available at cheaper prices. With only one bullet in the chamber in means that you are forced to land the shot or your pretty much dead, but that’s not the only problem, you have to land two of those things to the head to kill someone, if you hit the body its 4. If you bring in the reload time for this weapon it basically means you’re dead after the first shot, in my opinion it needs a model change for roleplay, and will pretty much never be viable for combat.* In my opinion this is the worst weapon to use in combat in this update.

Five-Seven

For a pistol this weapon packs quite the punch, and it has a relatively fast fire-rate to go along with it, this weapon has the capability to take up the slot of secondary firearm, it is a cheap alternative to weapons like UZI’s and P90’s. Its damage is moderate but makes up for it in accuracy and fire-rate. There isn’t too much you can really say about this apart from the fact that is moderate pretty much all the way round; Cheap, effective and accurate, potential for a headshot machine.

Glock-17

Now being the weapon that police spawn in with it is pretty much the worst pistol (not weapon), this is due to the fact that it is not capable of the sustained damage the other weapons are able to do. For example Deagle heavy damage, magnum heavy damage, five-seven moderate all round. What I have found to be the problem with this pistol that it does a lot of ‘random’ damage meaning that it varies a lot where you hit the person, shooting someone in the chest with this thing when they have Kevlar on is like throwing stones at them. What I have found though is that it has a large clip, which makes sense with the minimal damage it outputs, meaning that it is not all bad, stay away from this pistol unless you’re a copper, unless you are getting this thing for free then I wouldn’t spend my money on purchasing one.

G36C*

This is a weapon I am very unsure about, it has a good fire-rate, but is nothing compared to the AR-15, pretty much all cops take AR-15 over G36C due to its massive spread when shooting from hip, and when I say massive I mean you will be hitting things to the far left and right of your screen, this gun was somewhat a disappointment, the best representation of the effectiveness of this weapon is to relate it to the UMP-45 useful in close range and powerful in the right hands but otherwise it is useless with having a moderate damage, moderate firing rate, terrible accuracy. Recoil hits you like a train with this weapon destroying its viability as a spray down weapon like the P90 or AR-15, I assume this will see a great amount of use in roleplay as it is aesthetically pleasing and quite good for professional semi-aggressive security guard roleplay.

M3 Super 90

This weapon has the capability of blowing off doors and killing people on the otherside, just like how you used to before with the last shotguns, but the power this weapon packs when you do so is breathtaking as it really does blow the door across the room. This weapon is a anti-rush weapon, meaning that you can stop heavy rushes by pumping a couple of shells down the hallway you are defending, I really recommend using this weapon, it is such a pleasure to use and is aesthetically pleasing as well, having a world model it looks just as good to you as it does to others. This weapon has a relatively fast reload rate and fire-rate, for a pump shotgun that is, it also has the capability of one-shotting people at a close range, it is the cheap alternative for the AWM, allowing people to push you before you start laying into them essentially.

M14 EBR

I have to admit this weapon is capability of many combat situations, defending, attacking and stand-offs, the only thing holding this back is the massive recoil it has and the low clip. This weapon is impossible to control its recoil but it has great use with semi-automatic, if you’re into short bursts of fire this weapon is for you, even though it has a hefty price I would not put this in the Top 5 Weapons available in this update. To summarise it I would say: Great damage, great fire-rate, great range, terrible recoil, great accuracy and well overpriced for what it’s worth, there are much better weapons you could purchase, feel free to experiment with the mod’s on this to see if you can knock out some of the negatives, seeing as that is the only thing holding it back right now.

MP5*

This weapon I have scrutinized much in the past couple of days, I have watched police sergeants use this weapon again and again in raids but to no avail, this weapon in its current state does not stand a chance up against some of the other weapons that are available, having only 15 bullets in what effectively is another fast firing spray down weapon means that it can’t do much spraying, by the time you attempt to launch 15 bulelts into your opponent he will place either a shotgun into you or a few well placed shots resulting in your arrest. To summarise this one I would say: Great fire-rate, controllable recoil, terrible accuracy, terrible clip-size, moderate damage, this weapon could definitely have an increase in clip size to become of use, with the modification in which gives it an extra 15 bullets in a clip I would say that this weapon will be extremely effective in close range but without it is not of much use.

MR96(Revolver)

This is the pistol that contends for the title of top pistol with the desert eagle, without further testing I won’t be able to differentiate the two, but i’m sliding to this for the fact that it is still a one-shot to the head without Kevlar and seems to be more accurate than the desert eagle with basically the same fire-rate (too small to really notice the difference), I would say that as a secondary weapon this thing fits the spot perfectly, cheap and effective. To summarise this I would say: Great firepower, great fire-rate, great accuracy, terrible iron sights*, a good hip-fire accuracy as well. This weapon is just overall quite amazing; the last characteristic is what really brings out the greatness of this weapon.

P250

There is something extremely satisfying using this weapon, it provides a great shooting experience with the sound of the shot being so powerful, I would really recommend this weapon for anyone who likes to do some pistol type roleplay, this weapon provides a real experience. This weapon has good combat functionality as well but I would call it the best thing around, it has good accuracy, good hip-fire accuracy, great clip-size, moderate damage, and is aesthetically pleasing, I really recommend the use of this weapon. Another cheap and effective weapon.

SCAR-20
I cannot express the power of this weapon, this weapon is simply a beast, you cannot miss a shot with this thing, it is dead accurate and has a very, very fast fire-rate in comparison to other sniper rifles, you can fire this thing faster than a assault rifle and be more accurate, I would bet my money on this being the most powerful weapon in the recent update. This weapon comes with its own scope, something the AWM does not, it also comes with a clip-size of 20, the same as a M14 EBR for example but has a higher damage output per second due to it having a faster fire-rate. This weapon also possesses a 80 damage headshot with Kevlar, something that cannot be overlooked when you can shoot two bullets in about two seconds flat. I can summarise this weapon with a couple of words. Absolute beast. Detailed summary: Great accuracy, great fire-rate, great damage, great clip-size, terrible hip-fire( The event in which you have to used hip-fire means you have already lost the raid). The only thing that holds this thing back maybe is that it does not have iron-sights, which means you cannot use the weapon how people are using the AWM, in a sort of ‘quickscopin’ fashion at the moment.

SCAR-H

There is something about this update that means that every weapon with the word SCAR in it inherently becomes godmode instantly, this weapon has a 84 damage headshot with Kevlar, with aimpoint and a grip they are not so hard to come by, if the person has taken more than 15 damage before he initiates in you, you can literally one shot him with an assault rifle, which is absolutely ridiculous. This weapon is beautiful in every single way, aesthetically, its combat effectiveness outmatches anything else the game has to offer, even up close you can spray 1-3 bullets into someone and they will drop dead before you very eyes. This weapon does not come free though, it costs a heck of a lot. Priced at 57.5k market price it is not cheap and with the additions of modifications to make this thing into a machine your look at around losing 11-12k if you drop this thing. This has to be my favourite weapon in the update is pretty much the only thing I use in military RP, highly recommended. Summarised: One-shot potential, amazing accuracy, great damage, good hip-fire accuracy, ok clip-size, great fire-rate. This only word to describe this rifle is God-tier.

UMP-45

I have not been able to experiment with this weapon at all and would like some feedback on it, thank you.

At the moment Im not really sure it is viable in any kind of RP, its world model is a sniper model, but its supposed to be a dueling pistol, right now I don't think it has much but if it ever gets a world model upgrade then it will be perfect for some kind of old western roleplay, thats the one that comes to mind right now. For now I'd stick to the magnum and desert eagle for pistol roleplay.

I know the AWM part seems unrealistic for self defence in your home, but the AR-15 isn't. Now I don't know where you are from, but in America the AR-15 is pretty popular with civilian use. Myself and many others own them across the US, and keep them readily available. It isn't just for police use.

Good work on the thread, Smex.

Maybe there is hope for you after all.

Great thread! I'll take this into account for as we do weapon tweaks.

One thing to note: The other day we actually nerfed the AWM because it was just too OP with the quickscopiong, wiping out entire SRU teams easily. The power remains the same, but it no longer holds 5 rounds (or 6 with 1 in the chamber), but now just 1 (2 with chambering). Hopefully this tweak makes it the kind of weapon it was designed to be: a long-range weapon suitable for both assassinations and keeping a raiding force at bay and afraid.

Good catch on the SCAR-BAE: It really is the best weapon around.

As for a few potential updates, I have a few ideas I can roll out at the weekend - I'm away the next few days, so you'll have plenty of discussion time.

Tranquillizer: It's already been slightly nerfed in the update, but I'm thinking about making it take much longer for the darts to kick in, i.e. 30 seconds.
MP5: Give police/SRU a free 30-rnd mag mod, making it useful at least for government.
G2 Contender: This definitely needs a model change. We don't have a proper world model for it yet, but while we look for one or get one made, perhaps I can just put in some standard pistol/revolver world model?
G3A3: It's possible that, if it doesn't lag the server, I may add the 40mm smoke grenade mod as an option for this weapon (and others with the capability, but this is the only long-range battle rifle it can be used on). I'm hoping this makes it more worth the price.
G36C: It's a gorgeous weapon (I still have no idea why there's a survey corps logo on it), but the recoil is pretty high. I could always adjust that.

I know the AWM part seems unrealistic for self defence in your home, but the AR-15 isn't. Now I don't know where you are from, but in America the AR-15 is pretty popular with civilian use. Myself and many others own them across the US, and keep them readily available. It isn't just for police use.

What Dan said. The AR-15 is a civilian model of the M16, so many citizens in the US own one. Like Dan and myself.

Thank you for the feedback and will be making changes to the thread due to confusing a weapon with something else.

The tranq could definately do with another nerf to it, its still just as effective as before, maybe an item to combat it or a longer time for it to kick in, something like 15-20 seconds.
What I experimented with in single player is that the smoke bombs are very effective at what they do and could be used for tactical retreats in the SRU team or in clan roleplay.
The Contender could definately do with a custom world model, seeing as it is a roleplay reward, similiar to the tommy gun, at the moment it is really viable in RP.
The G3A3 could do with an increase in versatility in the situations they are used in, and the MP5 with a round increase modification for police officers.
