I know this thread is old, but I figured this is the most suitable place for it.
On Wednesday of this week I had my Grade 8 drumming exam. Today, I was informed that I had indeed passed the exam! I'm really,really happy that I've gotten this far. The three pieces that I chose to play are; I just thought I'd let y'all know about my new achievement.

Well seeing as its a bump I may as well talk about my new instruments
As I'm a music student its important to me to learn the most common instruments so I know how they work (not like to grading standard, just good enough so if for example the drummer in my band dropped out I could take over) As such this month I've invested in a Epiphone Special II Electric guitar  so I'm learning that too!
