The Evo City Falcons are a team in the National Basketball Association, they were founded by Evan Mitchell. From the beginning of the NBA, founded June 6, 1946. EvoCity never had a NBA team. Of course states such as Kentucky, Nebraska, Kansas, and Connecticut do not have a team either. The reason why Evan thought they should have one because basketball was a popular sport in EvoCity. Evan considered giving it a shot and founding a basketball team for a long time. After he decided he would finally look into it, he had to decide a name. A team with a name people would like cheering, Evan wanted. He came up with the EvoCity Falcons. It was a perfect name for a team with a speedy starting line up. There colors would soon be chosen to be Black with Red as there away jersey, and of course a plain white jersey as there home. ECF (EvoCity Falcons) was chosen as there shortened name. Then they needed a name for there home court. It was named The Tesla Center. Tesla being one of there best few sponsors for there brand new team, it was fit that their name was the name of the Falcons home arena.
In Basketball there are exactly five positions to play during a game. Here is a list of them.
Point Guard - The Point Guard is usually a short player with good ball handling who decides who to pass too and also is considered the 2nd coach. They are also the player who brings the ball up in game.
Shooting Guard - A Shooting Guards main objective is to score points for the team, some shooting guards also bring the ball up as well, these shooting guards are considered combo guards.
Small Forward - Small Forwards are shorter and more lean than power forwards and centers, and stay between the key and the 3Point line. They are the main scorers of the game.
Power Forward - They are typically a tall player who is strong defensively and usually stay with in the paint or with in the 3-Point line.
Center - Centers are almost always the tallest and strongest men on the court, they focus primarily on defense and scoring only by being close up.
Every basketball team have over five players in a game, the players that show they understand offensive and defensive plays and execute them well are in the starting line up. Players that have not shown that yet will be considered a sub. They will go in for players who are tired/injured and take there position during a game. Not all subs are bad necessarily, Iman Shumpert, J.J Hickson, and Ray Allen are all great players not in the starting line up.
