Why we should unban you: Probably because it was about as offensive as calling someone a butterfly? I was literally just testing the pradio with a group of friends when I get slammed with 24 hours for homophobia. I can guarantee you, literally bet $20 real life dollars that no one took offense. I wasn't just spamming all caps "***" into ooc, was I? It was a private frequency between friends in the clan and I, and I still get banned on false pretenses.



If anyone in the frequency was genuinely offended by 6 capital letters, I apologize, but it's a little bit ridiculous that I got directly banned. I'm gonna' go out on a limb and guess that Crow didn't even pay attention to what happened, he just saw my name and me saying "***" in all caps in a private radio.



edit: I'm livid. Can I just note that it wasn't even directed at anyone? Take OOC rules for example, if there is swearing or insults that aren't even directed at anyone, no one gets banned. People just act childish and tell them to chill out. There wasn't a single message in the pradio before or after as I could tell, showing it was clearly not directed at anyone. I could write a fucking book about this ban, my god.

When he typed that in the private radio I honestly don't think anyone was even in the frequency yet, since we were still joining. Even if someone was in it, it would have only been me and maybe someone else in the clan hearing it.

Tell me: if someone in their pradio between friends was just arguing about real life events or something similar making it clear it was OOC, would you instantly ban them for 24 hours since arguing isn't allowed OOC?

There's a legitimate problem on the server where the admins and moderators don't seem to investigate anything into the small problems, and just ban as they see it happen. Someone should've asked me, maybe in PM, maybe by taking me to a roof if I was intentionally trying to offend anyone. If I answer no, then feel free to ask the other people in the pradio. Oh - wait, there was no one in it.

Again, if someone silently says the word "***" to themselves in character in the corner of the map, would they get instabanned? No one heard it, he's just making himself look stupid. I don't see why I would get banned and Joe Shmoe in the corner would probably go on without getting banned. Just because it was over radio which is most likely a chat that the admins and mods can see, doesn't mean it's automatically more offensive, or it was automatically heard by others.

There is simply no reason for why your UBR should be approved in my opinion. The ban is valid and you have little to add to your case to prove how the ban is invalid in any way.

I'm pretty sure on everyone else's UBRs, they all have a few admin "replies" but no specific denied/approved posts to lock the thread. They still get their 7 day approved reply.

Imagine I'm sitting in the movie theater. I'm watching a movie, a nice, regular old action movie. I'm sitting right in the middle of all of the seats, and there's no one else in the entire room. Up at the top of the room, in the back, there's the guy who works the projector. He sits around, eats his food and watches over to make sure people aren't dying in the theater.

Lets pretend for a second that the theater was full - and some assclown yells at the top of his lungs "***!" to the screen and everyone else. Shocking, right? Some shithead yelling for no reason. That guy is probably going to get escorted out of the theater the disturbing everyone.

Now lets go back to the empty theater. If this guy yells "FAAAAAGGOT!" at the top of his lungs in a completely empty room, with a very little chance one of his friends being in that room too, is it that bad? All he's doing is making himself look a little stupid. He never offended anyone but himself if at all, and he never intended to offend anyone. Sure the guy working the projector heard him, but does that mean he gets escorted out immediately?
