Completely Buggered v2p and v33x textures

Right, hey there Fearless. I've recently tried having a play on the servers and found that after some time away my textures have actually gotten worse... most notably on v2p where entire stretches of road, cliff, grass and trees are all purple and black.

I go to the downloads section and attempt to follow the instructions, however I've noticed a change from the last time I had to battle through this stuff. It says to place all the content in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons

Now here's the problem, when I go into 'common' there isn't a GarrysMod folder... at all. When I try to use BlackShadowOfGod's installer, I get 'Failed to detect directory (Code: Downloaded)'.


Anyone know how to fix this?

I suggest to completley remove Gmod en reinstall it. Then it will be in the right folder I think.

Try creating a "GarrysMod" folder manually. There is a chance gmod downloads all the stuff that's needed inside the manually created map.
