Holy hell this is £1000? Massively overpriced.

Is it absolutely necessary to have a laptop? I mean if you only want it so you can sit it on your lap nown and again, just get a desktop. You could get the same specs for around half the price if you built your own desktop. If it's for work, surely it's better to just get a cheapo work laptop and then a custom desktop for home? Laptops are NEVER good for gaming. Especially with heating issues.

Decent amount of Memory, Large Hard drive, USB 3.0, 300mbps max wireless connection, 425M Geforce Graphics card and not too heavy. The only things you might want to be wary of is the Price and the Intel core processor line. They have a habit of having a poorly installed coolant system, which can lead to overheating after prolonged hard usage.
