Crash when joining solved
#1
I found the solution to prevent your Gmod crashing when you're trying to join. It's easy and fast to fix, so give it a try. This is how you do it:

Add +r_hunkalloclightmaps 0 to your Garry's Mod launch options

For people that don't know how to do add it:
1. Go to Library and right click on Garry's Mod
2. Press Properties
3. Click "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS..."
4. Paste +r_hunkalloclightmaps 0 there.
5. Enjoy a more stable joining process.

If it still crashes put -dxlevel 81 as well in your launch options!

This helped definitely for me, maybe it helps for you too Smile
