So a lot of people get the problem where their weapon goes invisible weather it is a physgun, fists or a toolgun. There is a real simple fix so you don't have to rejoin the server every time.
What you do is open up the console by pressing the ` button (Located next to 1 on a UK EU Qwerty keyboard) then you are going to type "Record 1" then press enter.
Leave it for about 3 seconds then you are going to want to type "Stop" into the console again. And it works pretty much all the time. Sometimes the weapons may disappear a couple of seconds after typing "stop" but retype it and it should work fine.
