I find these role-play rules odd.

Non-officials are only allowed in the Nexus when they have an appointment with the President.

AKA Going past the doors counts as in the nexus so why do people moan about that so much?

Non-officials are not allowed to pass the Nexus desk, if you do, you may be arrested or shot if identified as hostile.

Rule seems un-needed because of the rule above

Either these rules need to be changed or someone needs to explain them more

(people say nexus is the upstairs and the elevator only) = ?

The permanent laws do not specify this they only say the nexus itself so can we get more explanation on these permanent laws because so far i'm getting minged at and moaned at by only following the laws as a cop. All they have to show for it is trying to add information that is not there and is not specified

The Nexus is considered the entire building, including the basement.

The rule about non-officials not being allowed inside unless they have a meeting is to stop them from loitering around the lobby or garages.

The rule about them not trespassing is obvious.

Nexus is everything.

First rule is to prevent loitering/uselessness.

Second rule is obvious.

i didnt mean what they were trying to prevent i meant what they state

as in what it means is the rule where they cant be in the nexus without an appointment mean can you warn them then arrest if they dont leave the nexus first floor or the garage or is it only if it takes to a different floor on the nexus

Okay. Lets break this down...

Rule 1 : Non-officials are only allowed in the Nexus when they have an appointment with the President.

My Comment: This rule kind of makes sense unless you are going to see a loved on in the jails. If you're not escorted up by security though, it counts as trespassing. The next lobby is acceptable if you have a valid reason to be there such as booking an appointment with the president. But further on (Including the basement) is private. These are the rules to my understanding .

Rule 2 : Non-officials are not allowed to pass the Nexus desk, if you do, you may be arrested or shot if identified as hostile.

My Comment : Pretty much explained above. You would be trespassing on private property.

(people say nexus is the upstairs and the elevator only) = They're wrong

Your personal comment : The permanent laws do not specify this they only say the nexus itself so can we get more explanation on these permanent laws because so far I'm getting minged at and moaned at by only following the laws as a cop. All they have to show for it is trying to add information that is not there and is not specified.

My Comment : I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say here. So you're getting yelled at higher ranks because you're not quite sure about the rules?

I am interested in this now. Can you be arrested for just entering those doors of the Nexus?

If a the President makes it explicitly so, for a valid RP reason.
