Annoying brightness/glow on bright surfaces

Sup guys. Been trying to look for an answer on why some surfaces have been awfully... bright? glowy? since one of the previous updates. Never was like this before. I don't have HDR on. Playing with the video settings in the option menu doesn't seem to fix it.

I have exactly the same problem, when I drive in white cars its like being flashed in Counter-Strike or like being aimed on with a Flashlight in Battlefield 3, its rather annoying.

Well, think I finally found a fix. Was digging through some HDR/bloom related commands and I found the cause of the problem. Set pp_bloom to 0. This annoyed me to no end.

There should be a process tab in the 'Q' Menu, which allows you to lower/higher change these options.
