Tale of the Brotherhood
Long ago, the ancient elders of Doriath counselled together in creation of a clan, a clan that would keep balance within the world and assure order. They devised a plan, a test that all men that dared to join this new found Brotherhood would have to complete in order to prove worthy of the elders trust. Once on a raining twilight night Jeremiah Deliento proved himself after weeks of hardship and tests. He became the new found “Ruler” if you will of this Brotherhood considering his wisdom, youth and strength in combat. One night of war when the crusaders were in battle with the brotherhood yet to be named but known to the town as the defenders, a daemon of the northern corruption visited Jeremiah and gave him an offer he could not refuse. “Jeremiah, you seem like a wise young man surely you know the path of glory! I could show you all the riches of the world make you powerful and feared, you can be the king of all these nations! All this and more could be yours.” Jeremiah being filled with greed and lust accepted the daemon’s offer and devised a plan to murder the high elders during their feast o’octobera poisoning there wine with the venom of a garden viper. The elders fell to the hands of Carcaroth the daemon in witch converted Jeremiah. The brotherhood then became an underground operation of crime with thieves and fugitives, the once found brotherhood controlled by the high elders have gone corrupt and are known as the Dark Brotherhood. Many generations have passed since this tale was composed but legend has it that this brotherhood still dwells in the streets of EvoCity.
Rank Descriptions
Leaders
Founder- The founders of the Brotherhood are believed to be the great descendants of Jeremiah himself and have all rights and authority over the Brotherhood, they are also known as the high council.
Criminal Works
Rogue- Rogues are the most skilled and feared members of this guild, they have the most experience and trust out of all other members they know their way around a gun and how to take an order. These men/women have been special chosen by the high council to work for the clan.
Thief- The Thief rank are experts at smash and dash criminal works, men and women that know how to get away from a raid situation if needed and always live on the down low constantly having a backup plan if the first fails.
Passive
Casino Owner- Our casino owners are the source and funding of the brotherhood with the constant pleasure of people always wanting to gamble away their savings the brotherhood could not refuse and started opening up their own around the city to help fund the clan. The Casino Owner is a trusted man with our commanders and show great respect towards the clan, consider yourself highly honored to be the source of cash flow for the clan.
Security Guards- What type of organisation would we be without some security? We have two divisions of Security guards the ones that are up for higher to whoever has the cash to keep their place nice and safe. As well as the guards who protect the headquarters of the Brotherhood.
Chefs- We also dabble into the food industry opening small restaurants here and there. But mess with the clan and have a diner at our restaurant? Don’t be surprised if you find out your drink has been spiked.
Snitches
Scouts- Everyone loves a good rat, someone who is always backstabbing his friends giving the brotherhood intel, and receiving a generous tip. The brotherhood sends these men out to find out certain things that could affect the clan we take care of it while giving a nice little tip to the scout who found out.
Starting off in the clan
Apprentice- This is considered the lowest of the low, either you just joined and soon to be promoted or you’re just the whelp that even the scouts like pushing around. This rank is created to see if you are fit for the job and prove yourself worthy of the brotherhood.
Medals
Medal of trust- this medal is given to members of the DBH who are of the upmost trustworthy of all other members in the clan. The Council trusts there word and knows that when an order is given it will be fulfilled.
Medal of Bravery- This medal is given to members of the DBH who risk their lives protecting others constantly putting others before them to insure everyone is ok. Examples include, saving them in a shootout, giving health packs when needed.
Medal of experience This medal is given to the member who has been with us from the begging. In good times and in bad, who loves and respects the clan. As well has been nothing but a pleasure working with.
Medal of Leadership This medal is given to the member whom has best found leadership skills. Who when the founders are not on still aids any other member in a time of need, as well as keeps the clan running while the council is busy attending other matter or offline.
