The boundaries of RP.

THIS IS NOT AN UNBAN REQUEST

I got banned today out of nowhere while I was playing and the console told me to go look on fearlessrp.net. So that is what I did and under the bans section of the website I found my username listed. the reason for my 24-hour (I believe it was 24 hours) was that I called someone a n*gger.

"Calling the casino owner a N*gger, dont use that offensive language."

My character lost a game at the casino. So he freaked out, being the neurotic, spastic personality he is. He called the casino owner the N-word.

Now tell me, is it wrong to RP your character in a way he "might" be racist? Because I've been called the n-word numerous times on the server and hear people Not that my character is, but during his loss-fit he might have crossed the line. So quite some time later, I got kicked from the game only to find myself banned.

So that leaves me to the question: "Is it wrong to verbally abuse someone in-character?" Is it bannable to use words like "cancer" and the N-word? Or other "serious" insults?

i understand why its forbidden since there are a lot of younger people playing on fearless and some words can be seen as really serious abuse for example i can understand why you would be banned for calling someone a N**ger and i really understand since i have been banned twice from WoW and other games before when i was younger for calling a guy a F**ng J*w so i understand why its forbidden and i think it should stay forbidden for a more nicer and mature community.

The thing is while you might think it is "RP" it can be heard by other people around you and find it offensive OOC. In this case the casino owner sent me a youtube clip and told me he was offended by it. When people get offended it becomes an unsafe server for some people and they might never want to play here again. While you might think its ok to throw around those words some of us actually live in a place where they see blatant racism everyday or are a victim of racism. Its not funny and don't say it on our servers.

If your in a RP and your character is a total Dick its fine to throw insults but just keep it on the low. Don't over do it, but the use of the word N*gger or any Racial Slur that seems high inappropriate. Any word or phrase that insults one's Race or Sexual orientation is totally forbidden here.

Church, and condemn homosexuals because it is in our religion that man and woman were created for eachother?

I would rather not to bring religious views to an RP as they can be taken as offensive to some people.

Remember to think about other players just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean its not affecting someone else.

Why is this even relevant? Of course there are boundaries to RP, that's why we have a rulelist! It dictates what we can, and cannot do in RP, and you should follow it.
