Dear community,
Seeing as many users have questions and various concerns on the matter of dictatorships, this thread is to inform you of do's and don'ts of the president job, if you are going to run strict laws.
Point 1: General information
In order to be a dictator, run strict laws or ban a specific thing, there are some guidelines you must follow.
Point 2: Banning of laws and official ruling
In order to dictate, you must have a well-planned dictatorship to roleplay, and not do it just for the sole reason to ban things.
Do not ban
Anyone with their default spawn in the city (BMDs, Gun Dealers, Doctors, etc.). You can disallow their operation with in the city, but not presence.
Walking/running/crouching/jumping or anything down that lane.
The use of suits outside of the Nexus (you may set a dresscode for the Nexus).
Eating, building homes (bases and big compounds and boarded windows CAN be banned).
Ban below only with reasons - examples
Vehicles (visible crashes seen in action,
Corleones/Rebels (only if you have factually seen/had reports of them breaking laws consistently).
User asked questions answered
Please ask questions below and they will be answered and listed.
Q: Is being a dictator a valid reason to be raided?
A: No. Only if your laws drastically impact people's lives, giving them a reason to raid you.
Q: If a president bans cars but you already have yours spawned and want to put it back is it a valid reason to be arrested if you're just entering the city to put it back in your inventory?
A: You should be allowed to go inside the city and put your vehicle away.
Q: Although you're not allowed to ban those who spawn in the city, can you ban them from operating? e.g Shops, transactions ect.
A: Yes, you may.
