Pollux has made some horrible decisions, been frustratingly complacent, ignorant, elitist, hypocritical, profoundly stubborn and close minded - however these are all traits I expect to see in a developing brain.
He is getting older now - wiser - as a matter of fact 24 years old. His brain is soon fully developed. He will pull through - maybe he'll even go back and read some of my earlier arguments and reconsider. As much as I hate to say it and have truly tried to advocate against it in the past - he is now in control of FL - and it will remain this way.
But seriously, there is no point in pettiness: surprisingly - what I wrote over is a bad attempt of some long needed humor - I have no animosity against Pollux and only wish that he keeps FL alive.
Soul said when he was owner that he would never let FL die - and keep the forum alive even from his own pocket - I also believe Pollux will withhold this - I do truly think he cares. If he didn't he wouldn't have responded to your post and wouldn't have kept working on FL.
I have full trust in that he will do everything he can to keep FL alive.
As in regards to your application - I think you should trust his judgement and rather re-apply in the future. I am sure if you truly want (and able) to help FL efficiently he will let you. So give it a few months and reapply.
And that is also why I have hope - because I know for a fact that if someone steps up with the needed dedication, time, knowledge, trust and perseverance he will let them in the team.

Systems with low or shallow player-to-player interaction erode the social dynamics that keeps FL interesting.
