We're going to be closing the Events server a day earlier than scheduled, and intend to instead launch it again on the 7th as normal. We've identified a major problem that has been preventing many players from joining and has caused several mass timeouts today. Unfortunately, our investigation has revealed that this issue has been occurring sporadically since the launch of the Events server, which makes it a lot more difficult to solve.
Given the complexity of the problem, we are unable to resolve it in time for today. It wouldn't make sense to keep the server open while this bug exists, so we’ve decided to take it offline for now.

We hope to have several bugs fixed in the coming week, along with an actual update with "new" (technically old) things for you all. We’ll share more information on this soon.
