It depends on what type of bans it is. If you keep getting banned for the same thing over and over again.
i.e you have 6 bans for RDM.
The time between bans are also important, if the time between all those 12 bans are like 3 - 6 weeks it should be an alarm.
A factor is also your hours, if you have spent a long time on the server you should know all the rules.
I guess it also depends to a degree of what the admin thinks, if he believes you deserve a last chance.
