Are you sure you do have the "Half-life 2 Episode 2" installed?
Since that is were the props are coming from.
If you do have a Illegal copy, that might be the problem I'm not sure but it could be.
If you have a legal copy, the only thing you would have to do is install HL2EP2, CSS, Gmod and then in Gmod start menu, mount the HL2EP and CSS on the little game controller on the bottom right corner of the screen.
I'm going to do some more research and see what I can find, meanwhile Good luck and stay in touch with me since I do want to know what solved the problem.
