Read this!
So to avoid complications, everyone should read this as it will outline everything you need to know.
1. The year of the event is 2352. Not 2282. It takes place after Fallout 3's setting.
2. There are less mutants and raiders as the Brotherhood has destroyed most of them in the 70 years they've been there.
3. The Vault is Vault 87. If you are a vault role, you start in the vault. If you are a wasteland role, you start in the wasteland. The vault will be opened. But it hasn't been opened since the 2280's when the survivors cleaned out all the mutants.
4. If you start in the vault, you are a descendant of the survivors who cleaned out the vault in the 2280's, not the original inhabitants of the vault before the bombs fell.
5. The Overseer states that he IS the descendant of the first overseer. Maybe he's not?!?!?!?!?!?!
6. Each role comes with separate perks. They should be self explanatory for each role. They will be given out before the event starts.
7. If you are a "wasteland roamer," you can form a raider group with other players. Just don't be too aggressive.

The current date for the event is set on Saturday, January 16th, 2016. The time of the event is set from 7PM GMT (2PM EST) to 10PM GMT (5PM EST).
