[Upcoming] Fallout Roleplay!

Lore:

The event is set in and around a post-apocalyptic retro-futuristic eastern region of the United States, following the Great War between the U.S., and China as a conventional and nuclear war that occurred on October 22 - October 23, 2077, and lasted less than two hours, while causing immense damage and destruction. Before the Great War was the Resource Wars, during which the United Nations disbanded, a plague rendered the United States paranoid, and Canada was annexed.

Vaults are fallout shelters developed by a corporation called Vault-Tec. They were made to protect civilization from the greatest threats, specifically, Nuclear War. Some people in the vaults were isolated and eventually developed and mutated. This was due to inbreeding. Later, in the 2200's, these vault dwellers became curious of what was on the surface. Some vaults were abandoned due to infectious diseases and the fact that predators (Mutants) engulfed their society. This was because the curiosity of the dwellers overcame their will, and the vault doors were opened. On the other hand, some vaults remained shut, and therefore became isolated to the rest of the world. Inbreeding occurred, as well as disease. In your case, you are a citizen that lives in a vault that was only opened a few times, therefore, you are isolated from the rest of the world, and would not know what to do in a situation where he/she was released from the Vault. Every player must roleplay as if they were born in the vault, and have lived their entire lives there.

For all of you who've played Fallout, you have an overall advantage on players who haven't. This means you should help these players if they need help when it pertains to RP situations and lore of the Fallout universe.

Some players will be appointed positions due to their G.O.A.T. tests, whether it be playing the Overseer, or playing a security guard. Players' jobs in the vault will vary widely.

Finally, I want this to be a purely serious RP event. No fooling around or you will be kicked, no matter who you are. This may be strict, and I will ask administrators to enact a "Three Warning System," this is self-explanatory.

I encourage you all to watch this video. It will supply you with the information that is needed to roleplay in a Fallout Universe.

Vault Roles:

These roles are determined by the G.O.A.T. examination and your application.

Vault Revolutionary (0/3):

A citizen who has dedicated themselves to "revolution" inside the vault.

Vault Dweller (0/-):

An average citizen of Vault 87.

Vault Engineer (0/1):

A vault citizen who specializes in technical items and objects.

Vault Fry Cook (1/1):

A vault citizen who is employed to cook food for the vault dwellers.

Rand0m0mg.

Vault Physician (0/1):

A vault citizen who specializes in medical sciences.

Vault Instructor (1/1):

A vault citizen in charge of educating the young ones, and maybe, the older ones too.

Tzimanious.

Vault Chaplain (0/1):

A vault citizen who exercises his faith and teaches others about it.

Vault Security Guard (2/3):

A vault citizen appointed as a guard to keep the peace inside the vault.

Dan Dan.

Vault Overseer (1/1):

The leader of the vault, and the savior of its dwellers...

(This role will be chosen by me personally, as I need someone I can trust. Feel free to make an application for it, but also make an application for something else just incase.)

Wasteland Roles:

These role are determined by your application and your roleplay skills ingame.

Wasteland Roamer (1/-):

The average survivors who live outside the vault. These survivors can be of any profession, including scavengers or raiders. If you'd like to form a raider group, just mention it in your application and mention others who would be interested in joining it.

Wasteland Peacekeeper (0/2):

A wastelander who dedicates him or herself to keeping the peace in the wasteland. Ranked under the Wasteland Sheriff.

Wasteland Sheriff (0/1):

A wastelander who keeps the peace wherever he or she can.

Wasteland Physician (0/1):

A survivor who works with medical sciences.

Enclave Soldier (1/3):

A soldier who is enlisted by the Enclave and President Eden.

Ukraine.

Brotherhood of Steel Paladin (2/3):

A paladin in the Brotherhood of Steel.

Kippsee.

Cox.

(These roles will be chosen by me personally. Apply for them if you think you are able to be it. But also apply for something else just incase.)

The event will take place on a Saturday, and will last at least three hours.

The map will be RP_Fallout3_v002, by OptimUm, you can download this from the Steam Workshop.

You will also need four content packs for the map to work correctly:

The event's date is currently set on Saturday, January 16th, 2016. (This is subject to change)

The event's date is currently set from 7PM GMT (2PM EST) to 10PM GMT (5PM EST). (This is also subject to change)

Remember to roleplay in world's current situation, a dystopian apocalypse. This should be self-explanatory.

You must obey these rules to partake in the event. The rules are as follows:

1. No weapons may be used unless given permission by me or the administrators.

2. Follow all the server rules and perms-laws.

3. You must follow the RP specific situation at all times.

4. Roleplay seriously.

5. Finally, have fun and be nice.

Keep in mind that FailRP, FearRP, etc. are treated as per usual as if on the other servers. Don't goof around. Thank You.

You are allowed to build if it fits your current RP situation.

Also, always be prepared to be questioned by the Overseer and his custodians.

Once ingame, everyone will take the G.O.A.T. examination in the vault and will be assigned the job they have been given on the thread. If you have not gotten a chance to apply for a job on the thread, you will be assigned a job (most likely a vault dweller) after have taken the G.O.A.T. examination in game, or be assigned a job in the Wasteland.
