I don't have any issues either, I fixed it by downloading Hl2.
Try to download the files iprotiige provided, may help you get the textures.

Did you load up a mission/map in hl2, because you have to!
If yes then make sure to enable the games inside your gmod.
If this didn't work make sure to get HL2 ep1 and ep2

This is something im gonna try as soin im unbanned for "spamming 5 mellons" couze of the lag...
