Me working at Best Buy, I would recommend the Radeon 7770. The NVidia GTX's will fry themselves in years to come. Every week or so I will get a customer with that exact problem, and it has EVEN HAPPENED TO ME. I have since them moved to the AMD Radeon 7970 3gb edition. I love it, and has never gave me problems.

Go for the 7770.
