This thread has unfortunately been used by some people to throw their ideas at each other in an aggressive way and has gone way off topic, therefore I'll be closing this thread. If you would like to start a discussion on a new thread, feel free. Though I'd advise against making such a generic thread, as "General Politics" is very broad and leads to people talking about completely different things. Rather make more than one thread if you need to, each one discussion a specific aspect of Politics
