Things that are free:
Pocket dirt, apples, Oranges. If you pay less for a gold bar than the exact value it is worth. You would basically get a small piece free, or a big one... It depends. Systems with low or shallow player-to-player interaction erode the social dynamics that keeps FL interesting.
