I keep getting kicked all the time from gmod to the desktop every 1-5 mins for no reason. I don't know if a program is running and it has more priority, but it's really annoying, and it doesn't just happen when I play gmod.
Any help guys? I would appriciate it.
Thanks,
Android

Try open your task manager and end some other applications that you aren't using.

You can always try running a clean boot and re-enabling the programs one by one. Time-consuming but also effective.

I messed up my command line for gmod before (when trying to increase performance) which resulted in gmod crashing every few mins.
I fixed it by deleting the Settings folder for gmod in the registry under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Source\garrysmod\Settings
^ It will come back when you start the game again.
