idk why it just goes black and crashes doesnt give out an error
brings me back to desktop plz help this is annoying
system specs
i3 8100
8 gig ram
gtx 1050 gpu

I did have similar to this happen to me aswell.
I fixed it by restarting my PC so try doing that if you haven't already.

Right so after searching for issues similar to yours I found -

It says to either try and play in windowed mode because apparently that helps or
1. Go-to Steam Library
2. Right Click on "Garry's Mod"
3. Go-to "Properties"
4. Click "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS"
5. Put "-dxlevel 70"
6. Click "Ok", then try to join!
