It’s because your pressing shift. shift and lock internally locks it. shift and unlock internally unlocks it. also it needs cool down time. it works perfectly fine for me on the aston.

Actually that's not the issue, it still causes that problem, no matter if the shift key is being used. I've unbound shift and it still works that way, and not only the Aston Martin.
