Traffic
1. The speed limit in the city centre of EvoCity is 40mph.
2. The speed limit in the outer areas of EvoCity is 75mph.
3. Breaking the speed limit will result in a fine of $250.
4. Breaking the speed limit numerous times will lead to an arrest.
5. Reckless driving will result in an arrest.
6. Drink driving will result in an arrest.
7. Driving with intent to harm or kill will result in an arrest.
8. Trabants are denied access to drive on the roads of EvoCity due to their poor build.
9. Government vehicles can bypass the speed limit if needed.
10. If a government vehicles needs to get thorugh urgently, you must "give way".
11. Failure to give way will result in a fine of $500.
Weapons
12. The only weapons permitted to be used by citizens are pistols and melee weapons.
13. The use of rifles and shotguns by citizens is illegal and an arrestable offence.
14. Citizens may only openly display a weapon on private property and not make hostile threats to those outside of it.
15. Weapons used by citizens should only be used to deter criminals.
16. Police have the right to strip you of your weapons if they deem it neccesary.
17. Weapons must be sold by someone who has a government license to do so.
18. Government licenses to sell weapons cost $1000.
Contraband & Drugs
19. Contraband is illegal. You will be arrested and your contraband destroyed if caught with it.
20. Drugs are legal for "medical" and "recreational" usage.
21. They must not be used to excess.
22. They must not be used in public places.
23. Over-usage of drugs is arrestable.
Shops
24. Shops must be ran with a license from the government.
25. This license is $50.
26. Shops can hire security to defend their shops, security can possess legal weaponry to do so.
Devolution
27. EvoCity has been split up into 5 areas; City Centre, Industrial, Cliffside, Villas & Farms.
28. Each area will have a "District representative".
29. They can manage local policy and decisions in their areas, they are in direct liaison with the central government.
30. Some laws can differ and there may be some new laws in certain areas.
Nexus
31. Nexus Lobby is a public place.
32. Nexus Garage, Nexus Jails, and the rest of the Nexus is "government-only" and off-limits to norma citizens.
33. Trying to trespass or trespassing in "government-only" zones is arrestable.
Government
34. The Stragetic Response Team & Police Service may "ignore" certain laws if neccessary.
35. Government officials may raid, imprision or restrict you if they feel it is needed.
36. Government officials are not allowed to be "corrupt".
37. If you feel a government official is "corrupt" or working against the governent, contact the President, SR Sergeant or Police Sergeant.
38. Paramedics and firemen may also "ignore" certain laws if neccessary.
Business
39. Maltreatment of employees is illegal and arrestable.
40. Employees of businesses / entities must work at a resonable pace. They must be fired with an official and accurate reasoning.
41. If breached, a business / entity may be fined and investigated by the government.
42. Business "monopolies" over a certain area is not allowed (holding a tight grip, crushing opposition businesses).
43. Doing so is illegal and will result in an investigation.
Justice
44. The official legal representative of the government is "Vatican Law".
45. Vatican Law will manage all government legal cases.
46. A fair trial for all can be requested, and be presided over by an independent jury and Vatican Law.
47. The government can loose court cases.
48. If the government looses a court case, a "court loss" payment ranging from $500 to $10000 will be payed to the winning party/parties.
Elections
49. The "Vice President" position has a regular election tied to it.
50. The winner of the election will become Vice President.
