The Luz Family was started in 1977 by the current Boss' father and founder of the family, Vinny Luz. It started out as a small group in Sao Paulo City, Sao Paulo, Brazil. They robbed anything from to banks and gas stations. They were known for their flawless jobs in leaving no paper trails on the crime scenes. In 1980, with all the profit. They expanded into other categories such as drug smuggling, supplying and dealing throughout the area of Sao Paulo. They also ran organized street races and had started dealing weapons that were manufactured from different countries in their territories. The name quickly started to get out and a rival street gang quickly became intimidated by the family. The rivalry grew between the family and the gang. Long years later, Vinny was caught up in a gunfight and was shot dead during it. The family suffered a great loss of soldiers and the founder himself throughout it. The current leader, who at the time was a soldier had fled to Evocity. The family has gotten back up on it's feet and is now apart of the underground inside Evocity.
