IMO game of thrones has gotten worse ever since the white walkers have played a huge part, I hate how unrealistic it is. I mean, I drew the line at dragons.

Agreed, I personally think the show is overrated but that's just me.
The Children of the forest throw those weird ass balls that explode and Beric can set his sword on fire with his hand.

while i agree this season has been weaker in terms of writing, it is a 'fantasy' show. there are obviously going to be lots of unrealistic things going on, and there have been since season 1
