The NHS gets dank for the first time - Exotic - 04-24-2017

So the NHS used medicinal marijuana for the first time ever to cure a young boys epileptic seizures. Could this be the start of something new for the NHS? What if they start using medicinal marijuana much more leniently to cure those who need it?

Really hope this is the start of something...

Should never be illegal in the first place

As long as it is regulated it shouldn't be illegal.

This is a huge step here, especially to realising the potential cannabis has.

I actually have the disease one below Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis which also has no cure. I've found just smoking some weed with friends actually helps with pain too.

Well no, it's not medical marijuana as it's not got THC in it. It's cannabis oil. Also this technically isn't the first time it's been prescribed in the UK. I actually know someone with several life debilitating illness who is no longer mobile, can't breathe on their own and has seizures that gets it. Shipped in from Holland and sent straight to their home but the NHS picks up the tab.
