Gtx 960 or 970 - Himalaya Eater - 04-28-2015 Currently I have an ~approximately 2 year old gtx 650 ti and it lags when I play new games on high (gta v). I want to buy a new graphics card that'll be able to run most new games on high (preferably very high) without lagging. I also want the graphics card to able to last for at least 2 years (be able to play on at least medium without lag). So should I get the gtx 960 or 970? And what brand should I get (asus, msi, gigabyte, etc.)? RE: Gtx 960 or 970 - Viljo - 05-01-2015 If money is not a problem, Gtx 970. If money is a problem, Gtx 960 http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-970-vs-GeForce-GTX-960 I have Gigabyte, and I like it. Although MSI is another great option. RE: Gtx 960 or 970 - GeorgeTheBoy - 05-01-2015 970. RE: Gtx 960 or 970 - Himalaya Eater - 05-02-2015 OK thanks for all replies! I think I'll save some money and buy the gtx 970 in a couple of months.
